Sinclaire Motorsport (formerly Sinclaire of London) was originally founded by Wayne & Gill Sweeting, who saw the need for a body repair and auto service centre based upon total excellence of work, and quality craftsmanship.

In Wayne’s own words: "I founded Sinclaire of London in 1987 having worked for other franchised dealerships for many years. I felt that a more customer-orientated approach was required. For most customers their car is their pride and joy, and I felt that entirely too many people delivered their cars for repair, without being properly informed of what will be happening, and why."

In response to many customer requests and the ever changing automotive industry, our services have expanded over the years to include electronic and mechanical diagnostics, vehicle servicing, engine management tuning, performance upgrades, and parts sales. We have also built and successfully raced an Elise S1 in the popular Lotus On Track Elise Trophy. Culminating in more wins in 2008 than any other car. As well as running our own race car, we also provide support and advice to many other competitors in the series.

We now operate out of three specialised units each fitted out with modern equipment to meet the exacting requirements of our customers. We take a bespoke approach to the automotive industry, and are happy to discuss any automotive project you have in mind, from a simple road car servicing schedule, to a fully conceived racecar build.

Early in 2008 we officially restructured and changed our name to "Sinclaire Motorsport", this we feel is in greater line with our intentions for the future, and represents a change towards a more tuning and motorsport orientated future.
